Here at Laser Survey Services, we have a competent BIM modelling team who specialises in the production of 3D BIM models ” Building Information Modelling “. Best described as the process of producing a collaborative intelligent 3D model, a BIM model is solely created using solid objects which contain their own attributes.
This one dynamic model can be shared by different companies who are involved in the same project. An example of this is that the same model can be shared to the architect, surveyors, civil engineers etc and omits the need to share a number of 2D drawings with various departments.
Capturing the information using our 3D Laser Scanners, the BIM model is designed and shared using the latest Revit version. The client’s Level of detail (LOD) is discussed prior to the site visit ensuring that all requirements and needs are collected.
